Noyo Pacific Kayaking

Spectrum Kayaks is a small manufacturer producing fewer than 1000 kayaks a year. The owner, Gerry Watson works by himself, with the occasional help of his wife, at a small factory in Oregon. Bringing over 20 years of experience working for two manufacturers and then as the paddlesports buyer for a sporting goods chain, Gerry decided to use his depth of experience to design and produce a very nice pair of kayaks. Gerry manufacturers only as many boats as he can make by himself (he even delivers some of them himself.) He doesn't have any plans to increase his capacity or introduce additional models. The Duo combines the most popular features in sit on top tandem kayaks. It is a short tandem providing for ease of transportation and lower weight. The deck is elevated enough that you to assure a dry seat (really!) while retaining very good stability. It has a storage area between the seats with gear straps or a paddler can move the backrest up here to balance the weight when the boat is paddled by a single paddler. This model also features a rear skid boot to protect the keel when you drag the boat over rough surfaces.

Single Kayak with a Child seat

The Solo has all the most popular features in sit on top single kayaks PLUS a place in the bow for a small child or your dog. It has a large tank well with room for fishing tackle, dive tanks or whatever gear you might want to take along. You sit higher in this kayak than most others, which provides a dry seat (with a 260 pound load, this kayak was still totally dry) comfortable sitting position and better visibility for fishing. The hull is wide enough to deliver good stablity.
