I am going to start out by telling you a little about my kayaking background and why I kayak. I am middle aged women and started kayaking on summer trips to California. Mostly bay and ocean kayaking and the kayaks that I would use were rental kayaks so I am not sure what brand or model these kayaks were. The first time I kayaked I was about 17 years old and I had so much fun on the water. From that summer on I knew that I wanted to get more involved in the kayaking sport. After renting kayaks for years I decided that I would go ahead and purchase my first kayak. I wanted a kayak that was easy for me to carry and transport. I also had rented the Emotion Kayaks Spitfire Sit-On-Top Kayak and really liked the way that it handled in the water and the size of the kayak. I searched high and low for the perfect kayak and what I found out is that there is not a perfect kayak. I decided to go with the kayak that fit me the best, was easy to transport and was not too big for me to handle. That’s when I decided to purchase the Emotion Kayaks Spitfire Sit-On-Top Kayak. It was as close to the perfect kayak for me. I love that the stability of the kayak is top notch and that the v hull gives me a lot of speed on the water. If you are think about getting a kayak this Emotion Kayaks Spitfire Sit-On-Top Kayak is the one for you.

Kayak Pros & Cons
