WE DO NOT SELL ONNO PADDLES ANY MORE

If you want to buy an ONNO Paddle, I would strongly encourage you to purchase it from either of two remaining retail dealers. These dealers charge the same prices as you will get when buying direct from the manufacturer. As these two shops maintain regular business hours, you should find them much easier to reach by telephone and while I don't have any personal knowledge of their operations, they may also be able to provide faster service than attempting to deal directly with the manufacturer.

If you are considering purchasing an ONNO paddle directly from the manufacturer: "The Paddleshop," you should be aware of the following:

Carefully read the "Buyer Beware" comments in the FAQ section of "The (ONNO) Paddleshop" web site under: "
WHATABOUTWARRANTY?"
This will give you an idea about the integrity of Patrick Cooley, the person behind ONNO Paddles. Patrick had obviously represented to
his former dealers, that the paddles that we purchased from him would be covered under his warranty. We sold them to our customers under the assumption that this warranty would be honored.

Then later, Patrick decided that he was going to focus on his more profitable, direct-to-consumer sales. The only dealers he has continued to supply are two Southern California kayak shops. After terminating all other dealer relationships, he posted the notice on his web site indicating that he will not continue to honor the warranty that had previously been offered on any ONNO paddles that had been sold by his former dealers. While he attempts to excuse himself by asserting that: his former dealers behavior was somehow inappropriate and that "family comes first"  I do not understand how his family responsibilities should allow him to justify ignoring his obligation to fulfill the warranty on his paddles.

Since Patrick Cooley breached his commitment to us, and to our customers, I see no reason why you should expect to be treated differently.
Again: I would strongly encourage you to purchase Onno Paddles from either of two remaining retail dealers rather than buying them direct from the manufacturer.
